For this Men's Health cover, we featured Dr. Jed Ballard, an emergency room physician, to spotlight real-world heroes who embody strength, resilience, and purpose. As a CD, my focus was on capturing his authenticity while aligning with the bold, aspirational aesthetic of the brand. We approached the shoot with a cinematic lens — balancing raw, human moments with striking visual composition to convey both the intensity of his profession and the integrity of his character. The result was a powerful, grounded cover that connected with readers in a fresh and meaningful way.
